Overview:

The compact RKC temperature controllers offer display, control and monitoring of temperatures. The programmable input is selected via the front panel keys and include sensors, thermocouples, RTD’s and standard industrial signals, such as 4 … 20 mA, 0~5V etc. The control output can be selected as either a relay (for PID / slow control), as logic level for solid state relays (PID control) or as 4 … 20 mA control output.

This type of controllers uses the internal MCU for PID calculation and conducts control so that the process variable (measured value) matches the target value (set point value).
On the front panel, there are digital displays of the measured and the setpoint values.
Actual control requires a sensor for getting the process variable as input and an output device to control the load such as a heater.
